Description:
Come play with clay! Learn to throw on the potter’s wheel and transform clay into beautiful pottery artwork in this beginner’s class. The class starts Tuesday from76:30 pm-9:30pm and runs for four consecutive Tuesdays during the same time period.
This is a ‘hands-on’ class for people that want to learn to throw on a potter’s wheel. It consists of four 3-hour instructor-led sessions pus two 3-hours bonus practice sessions. We will teach you the full processes of working on the wheel: how to center, cone, drill, pull, shape, trim, decorate, paint and glaze your own ceramics pieces. No pottery knowledge is needed to attend the class.
The price is $150 and includes everything: the four instructed sessions, the two practice sessions, the clay/glaze materials, use of studio facilities/tools and firings of all the pieces you make in 4 weeks.
NOTE: Practice sessions must be completed before the end of the 4 weeks.
