Finally here! Summer Camp 2012

Session A June 25-29:  All about Handbuilding with clay.

In this session we will be teaching about the basics of working with clay to make a different project every day.  Projects will be fired and kids will get to paint them all on friday.    Session will run Monday thru Friday from 10am-1pm.  Cost is $180.  Please provide a snack or lunch for your child.  Only 9 spots available please go to the calendar register today. Session B July 16-20:  Turning on the Potters Wheel.

In this session we will be teaching about the basics of working with clay on the potters wheel.  Kids will be learning to center, open, pull, shape, trim, and glaze.  Special techniques to make teapots, mugs, and plates will be demonstrated.  Projects will be fired and kids will get to paint them friday.    Session will run Monday thru Friday from 10am-1pm.  Cost is $180.  Please provide a snack or lunch for your child.  Only 9 spots available.  Click Here to register for this Session.

A cost includes use of studio facilities/tools, material, instruction and firings of the pieces made. Pieces can be picked up 7-10 business days after the end of a camp. Space is limited to 9 kids per camp.

One Day Play With Clay Fun Camp

Ages 8 and up.  Monday, Tues and Wednesday.  Can’t make the full camp?  Come in for one day, or come in and work with your child to sample working with clay   Cost is $45/adults, $40/children for instruction, use of studio, material and firings/glazing.  We will glaze the work for you or you can come back and glaze your work for an additional $8 fee for paints, firings and studio time. Daily Camps are available during weekly summer sessions.  Contact us for info or to register in these pottery learning camps.

Full Day Open Studio Clay Fun Camp

Adults/Teens. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-4pm.

Those with pottery experience or  those that have taken one our classes and do not require an instructor, can come and use our pottery arts and crafts studio facilities for a full day of fun. You can bring your kids to work with you. Cost is $25 adults, $15 kids.  Clay is $40 for a 25 pound bag and covers all firings and our homemade high fire glazes. You can do sculpting, hand-building, wheel throwing.  This is available all summer long or during our normal open hours.   Contact us for details or to register in these pottery fun camps.

NOTE: If only four or less people register in a camp, we reserve the right to cancel that camps. In that case. your deposit will be refunded or you can use the deposit to reserve a camp in another date. We also reserve the right to limit unruly or misbehaving participants.
