Adults & Ages 10+ Join us for a creative and hands-on ceramic workshop where you will learn how to craft your very own ceramic watering bell! This class is perfect for beginners and those with some experience in hand building. Throughout the course, you will explore the fundamentals of hand building techniques to design and create a functional and decorative watering bell that will bring beauty and efficiency to your gardening routine. In this class, you will: Learn the basics of hand building with clay, including pinching, coiling, and slab construction. Explore the unique form and function of a watering bell, designing it to suit both aesthetic and practical needs. Experiment with texture, pattern, and decoration techniques to personalize your piece. By the end of the class, you'll have created your own handmade ceramic watering bell—an eye-catching and useful tool for watering your plants, as well as the skills to continue exploring hand building in your future ceramic projects. No previous ceramic experience required! All materials and tools will be provided. The 2-hour class will include instruction, 2 lbs. of clay, 2 firings and a house/ studio glaze. You can choose to return and customize your project(s) with colorful glazes for a small added fee of $15 per person.
